Copyright and DMCA policy

Last updated: 2026-10-01

We respect intellectual property. We respond to notices that comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. 512) and to equivalent notices under other laws.

How to send a notice

Use the contact form at /contact and choose the topic "Copyright notice". The form asks for each element below. A notice must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work you say is infringed.
  • Identification of the material on this site and its URL.
  • Your contact information, including an email address.
  • A statement that you believe in good faith the use is not authorized by the owner, its agent or the law.
  • A statement that the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner.

Counter-notification

If material you provided was removed and you believe that was a mistake, send a counter-notification through the same form. It must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material removed and where it appeared before removal.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you believe in good faith the material was removed by mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, address and telephone number, and consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, outside the United States, any judicial district where we may be found), and that you will accept service from the person who sent the original notice.

We may restore the material 10 to 14 business days after receiving a valid counter-notification, unless the complainant tells us they have filed a court action.

False claims

Under 17 U.S.C. 512(f), anyone who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing, or that it was removed by mistake, can be liable for damages.

Repeat infringers

The site has no user uploads. Where anyone contributes material, we will stop accepting material from people who repeatedly infringe.

Forwarding notices

We may forward a notice or counter-notification, including the contact details in it, to the party concerned.
